Local Allergy clinic helping to tackle the increased demand in allergy care
The number of Australians seeking medical care for Allergy has doubled in the past generation. Australia has among the highest prevalence of allergic disorders
in the developed world with around 20% of Australians suffering from an allergy. They can affect children and adults and are considered one of the
fastest growing chronic conditions affecting Australians.
Unfortunately, allergies are only increasing globally. At the heart of many chronic illnesses may be an undetected allergy. At Australian Allergy Centre, we can help diagnose and assess the severity of allergic conditions and help co-manage the condition with a range of inter-disciplinary professionals.

At the Australian Allergy Centre our aim is to increase access to allergy diagnosis and management for all Australians. Since 2015, we’ve helped more than 20,000 patients get answers sooner to a range of allergy and ENT related conditions.
With this in mind, the Australian Allergy Centre has opened a new clinic, conveniently located at Westfield Bondi Junction, in partnership with local general practice clinic MyHealth Bondi Junction.
Australia’s first shared care allergy team approach - a sustainable general practice solution for the future of allergy care.
Allergists and immunologists are among the most in-demand health professionals in Australia.
In some places it can take more than a year to get an Allergy test or it can be very expensive. We believe that quality specialist heath care should be accessible to all Australians. Here's how we are trying to change that.
The Australian Allergy Centre is a Primary Care Allergy service run by General Practitioners with additional Allergy and ENT skills training. Our GP’s are shared.care Doctors. This means they are part of a team of medical professionals equipped in allergy diagnosis and comprehensive treatment, meaning you get the answers you need sooner, without the stress and sometimes unaffordable price tag.
The GP shared.care model was built in response to the growing demands for access to comprehensive Allergy testing and management. Our GP’s are trained to assess allergic disease in a GP shared.care framework espoused by the National Allergy Strategy in 2016.
At Australian Allergy Centre, our Doctors and nurses are trained to work alongside specialists in ENT, Immunology, Dermatology, Anaesthetics, Orthodontics, Paediatricians, Sleep and Respiratory physicians to give Australian patients the nation’s first shared care allergy team approach.
